Not in a good way...

Hey BFF...I've been having a rough few days. I'm feeling really down. I'm feeling down on the yoga community and down on the vegan community and down in general. Ever have those days where you feel hopeless? Like you can't change the world the way you thought you could? Like you just don't want to be a part of a world that does such cruel and awful things? Like if you had a spaceship you'd get the eff outta here? Yeah, that's how I'm feeling. I wonder if this is how Chris Crocker felt when everyone was picking on Britney?

Watch out for the eff bomb & other bad words out of Chris's mouth. When you are distraught, these things just happen. *Hugs* Chris.

At least I've still got my weird sense of humor, BFF.

  1. April,
I know exactly how you feel. I am experiencing a similar sort of funk and a lot of it has to do with the information my partner Kelvin, the environmentalist is telling me about the future of our planet. It makes me so sad for my daughter. It makes me so sad for all the children in this world. It makes me weep when I think about the damage and the horrors inflicted on the animals that we humans use and then discard like objects. I am filled with anger and guilt for all the carelessness my generation and the previous ones have inflicted on this earth.

But, we can't lose hope. We can't give up. Its just not an option. If we come together, like this blog is designed to do, to unite people who have similar beliefs and aspirations, we can make a difference.
I am on your team BFF April. We can do our part, and encourage others to do their part. And hopefully all together we can make a change.
    Love,
    Heather

  3. It's not possible to change the world, but it is possible to make life a little bit better for a few others who inhabit it. This is that way I think of it - if I have helped just one other person/animal to live a better life, to be a bit happier, or to suffer a little less, then it's worth it. 'First do no harm', and all that.
